Based on classic Roman
and Greek architecture, high-end railing systems, known as
balustrades, have been popular from the Italian Renaissance
onward. In the past what was cast from stone, fiberglass, marble
composites, and polyurethane is now offered in maintenance-free
vinyl. Constructed of premium virgin vinyl, and reinforced with
aluminum "A" channel inserts, the Masters Vinyl Balustrade is
able to withstand abuse of high traffic areas for a lifetime of
lasting beauty. The top and bottom rails are 6 1/2" wide.
