At Deck Builder Outlet, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to feel confident in every purchase. Please review our policy below for returns, refunds, exchanges, and damaged items.

Returns

We accept returns on most unused and resalable items within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
  • All original components and accessories must be included
  • The product must be in resalable condition

Non-returnable items may include:

  • Custom or special-order products
  • Installed or used items
  • Clearance or final sale items

Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact us:

Once your return is approved:

  • You will receive return instructions
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated
  • A restocking fee may apply depending on the product or manufacturer

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for processing after approval

Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item:

  • Contact our team to arrange a replacement
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability
  • Additional shipping charges may apply

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging

Depending on the situation, we will:

  • Replace the item
  • Issue a refund
  • File a claim with the carrier or manufacturer

Important:
Do not discard damaged items or packaging until your claim is resolved.

Manufacturer-Specific Policies

Some products may be subject to manufacturer return policies, which can vary. Our team will guide you through any brand-specific requirements if applicable.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before shipment. Once an order has shipped, it must follow the standard return process.

We’re here to make your experience smooth and hassle-free—before and after your purchase.

All returns must have a RMA. To obtain a RMA, please email info@deckbuilderoutlet.com or call 800-966-9261. Unopened Items purchased from Deck Builder Outlet may be returned, at the buyers shipping expense, any time within 30 days of the purchase date. There is a 15%-25% restock fee charged on most items returned. If returned items have been found to be opened, and cannot be resold, no credit will be given. Supply a copy of your original packing slip or something to identify who the item is being returned from. Your account will be credited for the total amount of the return, less the resstock fee within 30 days of the date received by Deck Builder Outlet or its distributors or manufacturer. Items listed as Overstock Sale, Clearance Sale items or Special Order items cannot be returned. Non-stock items shipped directly from a Manufacturer cannot not be returned or, upon return approval, may have a much higher restock fee. Custom windows are not returnable..
