Welcome to our Deck Builder Outlet website.  We appreciate your time and strive to offer you the ultimate in customer service with very competitive product pricing.  All products shown on this website are brand new and will be shipped to you either from our warehouse, our suppliers' warehouse or directly from the manufacturer.  We follow the motto of "Under-promise, Over-deliver" .  Although we advertise that your order will be shipped within 3 days, most orders are shipped out within 24 hours of your order placement. 


Who Are We?  Deck Builder Outlet began as the online store for Gazebo Junction, Inc.  a family owned gazebo kit manufacturer run by brother-in-laws Rob Falls and Paul Boehlke since 1993.  After building relationships with cedar wholesalers, we began supplying cedar decking to many Chicago area deck builders.  In 2003, we were introduced to Timber Tech composite decking and became an elite dealer of their decking products.  As our deck builder customer base grew, so grew the demand for other decking products.  We began to offer Monarch, Pro-Cell (now Azek) and Veka (now Trex) decking lines.  Soon afterward, Deckorators and Fortress balusters, TrapEase and SplitStop screws, Tiger Claw fasteners and Rain Escape deck drainage were all added to our inventory.  It wasn't long before we realized there was a demand for these products, but little support from retail stores. 

The Gazebo Junction website had been active since 1997.  Originally designed as an informational site for our gazebo kits, we added a shopping page to our site and offered a few gazebo parts for sale which introduced us to internet sales.  As those sales grew, we realized the internet was quickly becoming a convenient way for customers to obtain products that are not easily found in home centers and lumber yards.  We revamped our store site and introduced Deck Builder Outlet.com in 2005.  After 5 years of continued growth, we separated Gazebo Junction from Deck Builder Outlet and the website is now part of Internet Shopping Network, LLC, and continues to offers excellent pricing, superior customer service and easy to navigate product pages.

Why do we charge shipping on your order?  This is one of the most popular questions we hear.  There is no way around it, there are shipping costs associated with your order.  A successful business simply cannot ignored these costs.  There are two ways to handle the shipping charges on orders.  We can either pass along the shipping charges that we pay to send you your order, or waive shipping, estimate what those charges will be and add it to your product cost.  The problem with the 2nd options is that the cost can vary greatly depending on where it is being shipped.  Rather than randomly adding shipping cost to every product, our business philosophy is to give you the best price on our products and ask that you pay the appropriate shipping charges.  The shipping changes shown on our site are driven by UPS software.  If you feel that the shipping charge shown in your "Shopping Cart" seems too high, don't hesitate to call and ask us to double check. 

What can you Expect?  If you need questions answered, call us.  If you need advise, call us.  If there is a product you can't find, call us.  You will get honest, professional answers.  When you place an order on our site you can rest assured that you are receiving an excellent price and that your order will be shipped in a timely matter.  If a situation arises where we are unable to fulfill your order within 3 days (unless otherwise noted on the site), you will be promptly notified.  We are deck supply experts, not computer wizards.  Our site may not be the prettiest on the web, but we hope you find it easy to locate products, easy to get the information you need and an enjoyable internet shopping experience.
