4 Steps to Building a Screened Porch:

  1. Install the "C" Receiving Channel to perimeter

  2. Install 2x2 framing into the "C" Channel

  3. Install intermediate vertical 2x2 or 1x2 supports

  4. Install Screening with spline rolled directly into framing.

Using 2x2's thoughout your porch will allow for the addition of windows.
This channel is used to lock your porch frame into your existing structure
You can substitute 1x2 frames for the intermediate uprights if you don't expect to add windows.  Can also be used as cross members for kick panel.
If you will be using a 2x2 in the corner of your porch, this one is designed for a 90 degree corner.
